Picture Your OCD

The “Picture Your OCD” project aims to raise awareness of OCD. Many people do not know what it means to live with OCD. We are researchers and artists working to create an artwork which encourages the public to reflect on OCD, and to increase their understanding.

We are excited to invite people with OCD to submit a short video or photographs from a first-person’s perspective that express their experience with OCD.
We are interested in how you are experiencing your OCD and how it affects your everyday life. Any contribution that you think reflects on your experience, this could be filming yourself or something else that represents your condition, will help us create a lasting impression.

Your contribution may be included in our art-science collaborative project and further work that will evolve from the project.
As part of the Dear World Project, the final piece will be displayed at the Dear World Exhibition at Stour Space in Hackney Wick in February 2020.

Please upload either a video (any format) or a series of pictures (in a zip folder) that illustrates your experience with OCD from a first-hand perspective. It should not exceed 300 MB.

These films will be shown publicly, so please make sure that you or anyone else are not recognisable (e.g., no picture of your face or voice recording). We also encourage you to submit your file anonymously.

Please submit your contribution as soon as possible.

If you have any problems uploading the file or if you have other questions, please feel free to contact us directly via the contact form.
